UV-CURABLE COATINGS FOR METAL AND PLASTIC
Protective and decorative applications
Both 100% reactive and waterborne formulations available
Tough and abrasion-resistant; available in pencil hardness B to 6H
Both clear and colored systems available in a wide range of gloss and application viscosities
Coatings for metal designed for direct adhesion to aluminum, copper, steel, iron and various alloys without the use of a primer
Coatings for plastics designed for direct adhesion to a broad range of plastics and metallized plastic surfaces without the use of a primer
Examples of coatings formulated to customer order:
Clearcoating for Embossible Nametags
Abrasion-resistant, yet can be embossed/stamped without cracking or flaking.
Clearcoating for Brass and Bronze Music Wire
Protects against oxidative discoloration. Ductile for tight winding without flaking.
Clearcoating for Vacuum Metallized Plastics
Both smoothing basecoat and protective topcoat products available.
Clearcoating for Fiberglass-Reinforced Polyester Panels.
Abrasion-resistant. Weatherable.
Clear Hardcoating for Acrylic and Polycarbonate Lenses
Abrasion and scratch-resistant. Weatherable.
Clear Coatings for Doming Nametags, Gaming Tokens and Novelties
Thick-cure. Adhesion to plastics and metals. Dye sublimation printable.

Viscosities from waterlike fluid to thixotropic gel

Paper Padding Compound
Good bond strength to paper. Flexible without tearing. Non-tacky, even in hot environments. Printable.
Tacking Adhesive for Winding Wire/Cable Coils
Tack properties when hot; tack-free at room temperature.
Structural Adhesive for Ferrite Core Bonding
Thixotropic gel. Deep lateral cure through bond seam.
Removable Laminating Adhesive Polycarbonate Film to Glass
Smooth pressure-sensitive bond with residue-free release.
PSA for Laminating Aluminized PET to Coated Paper
Single-pass curing at >100 ft/minute. Good peel strength.

Durometer hardness from 5A to 90A
Pour-in-place and screenable systems available
Clear and colored systems available
Cure thickness >100 mils for clear systems
Examples of sealants formulated to customer order:
Screenable Sealant for Electronic Display Screens
High thickness without slump. Very low durometer. Replacement for die-cut foam.
Screenable Sealant for Beading Fiber Gaskets
Stress-riser to improve gasket sealability between fastener locations.
